Jose Amaya |
Hola.
My name is Jose Amaya and I am the Executive Chef in Houston.
I was born in San Miguel, El Salvador. I came to the U.S. in
1985 and began my restaurant career at Birra Poretti’s in Houston.
I speak Spanish and English. I was on the opening team in Houston
in 1996 and have worked my way up from line cook to Executive
Chef.
I am a sports fan and I especially like the Astro’s and Futbol.
Canyon Café has been a great experience for me and I
look forward to the future.
